"’End Times’" in the Slavic and Jewish Cultural Traditions"

Dear colleagues, we are glad to invite you to participate in the annual conference, which is a part of a long-term project for the comparative study of Jewish and Slavic cultures.
The conference “‘End Times’ in the Slavic and Jewish Cultural Tradition” will be the twenty-sixth’s meeting of the researchers involved in the international project “The Culture of the Slavs and the Culture of the Jews: Dialogue, Similarities, Differences” since 1995. The project is carried out by the Center for Slavic-Judaic Studies, Institute of Slavic Studies of the Russian Academy of Sciences in cooperation with various scientific and public organizations.
The next conference from "The culture of the Slavs and the culture of the Jews: dialogue, similarities, differences" cycle, is devoted to eschatology as a significant part of cosmogony, literary and folk ideas about the "End Times", the End of the World and the signs foreshadowing it, about the coming of the Messiah and the Last Judgment, about the future fate of mankind.
