Study Course for University Teachers in Judaic and Israeli Studies on Department of Jewish Studies, Moscow State University

Sefer - the Center for University Teaching of Jewish Civilization, together with the Department of Jewish Studies (Lomonosov Moscow State University) announce additional contest for pretenders seeking grants for the study course (Summer Study Term, 2010-2011) in the Department of Jewish Studies of the Moscow State University.

The Study Course is sponsored by the Genesis Philanthropy Group as a part of the CAF Russia «Jewish Communities» charity program.

Teachers in Jewish Studies and Israeli Studies from Russian and CIS universities and high schools may take part in the contest.

Dates and length of the Study course period: one to three month in the period starting from Feb 15, 2011 to May 20, 2011.

A candidate willing to take part in the contest must send the following documents on the sefer@sefer.ru (putting Study Course as a topic of the message):

1. Declaration with exact dates of the study course (1, 2 or 3 month), including the possible request for the hostel.
2. Recommendation made by the head of the university department.
3. Filled-in Teacher Application Form (we send a blanc application form to those who is willing to take part in the contest).

There is also an option for individuals to send an application until Dec 15, 2010. Each application will be considered separately.

Contest results will be presented on the Sefer Center's website - www.sefer.ru .

Winners of the contest will be informed by electroinic mail.
