Winter School on Jewish Studies

On February 1-5, 2020, the Planernoye hotel near Moscow will host a Winter school on Jewish Studies, organized by the Sefer Center in cooperation with the International Center for University Teaching of Jewish Civilization, the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, with the support of Genesis Philanthropy Group, The Russian Jewish Congress, and the Euro-Asian Jewish Congress.
This year, the organizers of the school decided to move away from the narrow thematic framework and make a mosaic, not limited to a single topic, a set of courses of lectures covering different eras and countries. At the same time, in our opinion, this mosaic is combined into a colorful overall picture reflecting the richness and diversity of Jewish civilization.
Payment for travel of nonresident participants to Moscow is not provided.
All participants (except nonresident participants, who paid their transportation costs) shall pay the participation fee in the amount of 2000 rubles. Applications for participation in the School (online application form) are accepted until December 10, 2019.
Reports on the results of the competitive selection for the Winter school will be sent out by December 17, 2019.
