Dear Colleagues,

the International Institute for Jewish Genealogy in Jerusalem is offering two commemorative prizes in the field of Jewish genealogy:

• The 1st prize is an “ignition grant” for $2,500 for MA/Doctoral students and
• The 2nd is a prize of $1,500 for completed but unpublished research work in Jewish Genealogy.

Entries for the prizes, in the form of thesis proposals or completed studies, should be submitted by 31 March, 2018. They will be judged by their originality and the extent to which they expand the horizons of Jewish genealogical research in the humanities and/or the exact sciences.
