Читаются следующие тексты:

  1. три рассказа о сестре-или-жене,
  2. изгнание Агари и Измаила,
  3. визит посланцев Яхве к Аврааму и в Содом.

Особое внимание будет уделено мифологическому контексту этих сюжетов, то есть параллелям в мифах, эпических традициях и сказках, которые обнаруживаются у других народов мира. В курсе рассматриваются также синтаксис и стиль библейской прозы.
